HMRC Presents: Prohibition in Texas: A Century’s Retrospective Online
The 18th Amendment caused a major change in economics, politics, and social life across the nation in the 1920s and 30s. Now, 100 years later, the Houston Metropolitan Research Center presents a look back on the social movements that lead to prohibition and the ways in which life in Houston and Texas changed as a result.
