12:00pm-1:00pm

Join us to learn about mental health terminology, symptoms of major behavioral health disorders, and the impact of untreated mental health symptoms. The goal is to improve interactions between personnel and those experiencing mental health concerns

1:15-2pm: Garden Marcus

Join us in a talk by TikTok's most popular gardener, Marcus Bridgewater—aka Garden Marcus—on his new book, How to Grow: Nurture Your Garden, Nurture Yourself. Marcus Bridgewater creates a space for us all to grow and reflect in his debut book, How to Grow: Nurture Your Garden, Nurture Yourself (HarperOne; Hardcover; May 24, 2022).  In the book he focuses on a trinity of wellbeing—mental health, physical fitness, and spiritual awareness—and weaves together stories of his life, starting with the first lesson he learned from tending his grandmother’s garden in his youth: “…that growth cannot be forced, only fostered.”
